Acuarela Center is the editorial author of every guide, comparison, review and product assessment published on this website. Our purpose is to organise useful information about paints, paper and brushes so readers can choose according to their level, way of working and budget.
What we publish
We create practical guides, comparisons and product pages about watercolor supplies. We aim to explain relevant differences, identify suitable use cases and present limitations as clearly as advantages. Content is reviewed and updated when product information, prices or our editorial conclusions change.
How we research reviews
We evaluate products from the user's perspective. We review available specifications, materials or pigment information, format, number of colours, portability, intended level, durability information and price. We compare these factors with relevant alternatives. When a conclusion comes from hands-on use, the page should identify that evidence; when it is based on documented product information and editorial analysis, we do not present it as a laboratory or hands-on test.
Our scoring method
Scores from 1 to 5 are Acuarela Center editorial ratings. They are not buyer averages and are not imported from Amazon or another website. Each score balances five criteria: product or material quality, suitability for the stated level, versatility, presentation and durability, and value for money. A higher score means a stronger overall recommendation within the product's intended category and audience, not that it is the right option for everyone.
Editorial independence and affiliate links

Affiliate commission does not change the rating, advantages, limitations or conclusion assigned to a product.
