How to choose the right paper

How to choose the right paper

Paper is a key material. It is made from cotton (higher quality and absorption) or cellulose, and classified by weight: from 185 g/m² up to 640 g/m². We recommend starting with 300 g/m².

Textures include rough, cold-pressed and hot-pressed. Cold-pressed is very versatile: it allows detail and large washes. Reference brands: Arches, Canson, Hahnemühle.
